  • Could Modern Warfare 3 Remastered Be Releasing Next Year?

Could Modern Warfare 3 Remastered Be Releasing Next Year?

Last year, the most significant leak came from Nvidia themselves, when GeForce Now’s database leaked a list of games that were on their servers. Over the last few months, almost twenty of those games have been confirmed to be real projects. That obviously doesn’t mean everything will actually come to fruition, but one of those games was Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Remastered. Now, this would make sense considering we have already seen the first two games in that trilogy release.

Today, we got even more evidence that it could be real. Infamous Call of Duty leaker, Tom Henderson, went to Twitter to say the following: “To heal the pain due to my lack of timezone knowledge… There’s technically a 4th Call of Duty title releasing by the end of 2023. Modern Warfare II Warzone II COD 2023 and something else.” Tom followed up with a tweet confirming that he was referring to Warzone Mobile, but there is still reason to believe that it could be the 5th Call of Duty title released by the end of 2023. If I was a betting man, I would say that we will see Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Remastered by the start of 2023’s summer season. There is no reason to hold on to it if it has already been made.

  • Control May Be Coming to Game Pass

Control May Be Coming to Game Pass

About two months ago, the Xbox Game Pass social media team tweeted out a teaser that Doom Eternal would be coming to their platform soon. We posted about that rumor, and it ended up being true as you can see here. Once again, they have taken to social media to tease another game and we believe that it is Control.

In the tweet above, they mention a sinister red light which is something that we see often throughout Control. I may be wrong, but I can not think of one other game that had a sinister red light in it. The other thing feeding this rumor is the fact that Phil Spencer accidentally said that Control would be coming to Game Pass when he was on a podcast a few months ago.

We would expect it to be the original version of Control considering the fact that 505 Games were so cheap that they wouldn’t even give Control Ultimate Edition out to fans who bought the base game and the season pass prior to the next generation version’s release.

  • Doom Eternal is Joining Game Pass Next Month

Doom Eternal is Joining Game Pass Next Month

Time for another conspiracy theory. Now we all expect Bethesda’s library of games to make its way to Game Pass eventually. What we don’t know is when the games will start to be available. That was until today. We now know that Doom Eternal will be arriving to Game Pass soon due to a teaser by the Game Pass twitter account.

If you look at the photo you can tell they are hinting at something but it isn’t obvious until you dive a little deeper. If you look at every capital letter, it spells out “LOOK BELOW.” If you look below you don’t see anything crazy. Until you really look and see that “THE SLAYER IS COMING.” It is in super faded text so it is hard to see.

Thankfully, a user on twitter used a filter to make it easier to read.

This is perfect timing since the new story expansion will be arriving on October 20th. Game Pass users receive 10 percent off the DLC. I would expect the rest of Bethesda games to continue joining Game Pass in the following months.
  • Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War Beta Date Leaked

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War Beta Date Leaked

Update 2: We have published what we want and don’t want to see in Cold War. Click HERE to give it a read and to share your own opinions.

Update: In case you missed it, click HERE to see game play of Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War that leaked about a month ago.

Yesterday, we finally got the reveal trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War which will be a direct sequel to Call of Duty: Black Ops. At the end of the trailer, it was revealed that the game would be releasing on November 13th for the current generation systems and at a later date for the next generation consoles. On top of that, the beta was announced as a timed exclusive to PlayStation (something we are familiar with). The only detail that was missing was when the beta would be happening.

During previous years, the beta would take place during August/September but we knew things were going to be different this year considering how long Activision took to announce the game. Fortunately for us, it appears Activision has slipped up and leaked the date early.

Thanks to CODTracker, we now know that the beta will be coming to PlayStation users on October 8th. Activision messed up by having this text show up on the Arabic version of the Modern Warfare store.

  • EA Access/Play Coming to Game Pass

EA Access/Play Coming to Game Pass

Time for a good ole conspiracy theory.

Earlier in the week, insider Jeff Grubb started teasing that there would be another big reason to get game pass coming soon. I, of course, had to respond to him asking if Cyberpunk 2077 was coming to game pass (I know CD Projekt Red said it wasn’t like two months ago) and he responded saying it wouldn’t be a game.

    Now he tweeted the following:

    Someone responded with the following:

    Ready = ea

    Play = play

    Combined = EA PLAY

Normally, I would say this is a major reach but Jeff Grubb and Timdog (the person who started the thread saying news is coming soon) both liked the tweet. On top of this, Jeff was a guest on the podcast SpawnWave and confirmed that these were his expectations.

We know Xbox and EA have always had a pretty solid relationship. Xbox and EA gave a free month of EA Access (Now EA Play) to all Game Pass Ultimate users back in November. Considering the fact that EA Play is only $30 for a year so I feel like it could be fit into Game Pass Ultimate. EA would benefit from this by getting financial compensation from Microsoft as well as gaining additional subscribers for EA Play Pro which is the higher tier version that gives access to their AAA games on launch day.

  • Microsoft Leaks Yakuza Like A Dragon Release Date

Microsoft Leaks Yakuza Like A Dragon Release Date

Years ago, gamers saw the biggest wave of leaks through Walmart Canada. It now seems like there is a new champion in town. The Microsoft Store has already leaked screenshots, trailers, and release dates for multiple new games including Crysis Remake, Mafia Remake Trilogy, Star Wars Squadrons and more. Just an hour ago, Microsoft made another leak come true.

We now know that Yakuza Like A Dragon will be releasing on November 12/13th, depending on your region. Multiple users on twitter pointed out that Microsoft accidentally put up a store page for Yakuza Like A Dragon which included the unannounced release date. You can press HERE to directly go to the page.

    Source: Microsoft

Yakuza Like A Dragon did put out a trailer earlier in the day. (This one was on purpose, not accidental).

This next part is speculation of course, but is it crazy to believe that the Xbox Series X will be releasing at sometime between November 11th-19th? Xbox has the marketing rights to Assassins Creed Valhalla, Cyberpunk 2077, and Yakuza Like A Dragon which all come out during that time frame. Throw in Halo Infinite and another smaller exclusive and you have a pretty solid group of games to play at launch.

  • Crysis Remastered Trailer and Release Date Leaked (Update: Delayed!)

Crysis Remastered Trailer and Release Date Leaked (Update: Delayed!)

Update 7/1/20: Crytek has confirmed that a Nintendo Switch version will be coming. On top of that, they are delaying the official reveal and release date. Here is the statement they released.

A few months ago, everyone was excited to find out that a Crysis Remastered was in development. Crysis has always been a series that has pushed the boundaries of video game graphics. Knowing that a fan-favorite series would return in the form of a remaster was great news because if it sells well, that means that Crysis 4 would have to come. Unfortunately, after some leaks, it does not seem like Crysis Remastered will be pushing any boundaries with it graphics. However, let us dive right into these leaks.

    Credit: Microsoft Store

Thanks to Microsoft, we now have access to Crysis Remastered’s trailer, screenshots, and of course its release date. You could argue that it’s just a place holder, but the last two times that Microsoft leaked games, they were accurate (Mafia: Trilogy and Star Wars Squadrons).

    Credit: Microsoft Store

Crysis Remastered will be releasing on July 23rd of 2020. We also know that it will have a 7.01 GB download size. The description says the following:

“The classic first person shooter from Crytek is back with the action-packed gameplay, sandbox world, and thrilling epic battles you loved the first time around – now with remastered graphics optimized for a new generation of hardware.

Suit up: Your Nanosuit’s speed, strength, armor, and cloaking allow creative solutions for every kind of fight. Adapt: In an ever-changing environment, adapt your tactics to dominate on battlefields ranging from frozen jungle to alien environments.

Customize: A huge arsenal of modular weaponry provides unprecedented control over play style, with options ranging from the experimental to the alien.

Conquer: Life-like enemy AI require a strategic and flexible playstyle, as new challenges – including a zero-g battlefield– require players to take the offensive and be proactive.

Explore: Choose your own path through the open world of Crysis, destroying obstacles, driving vehicles, and using the environment itself against your enemies.”

As you can see by the screenshots, the graphics aren’t anything to write home about. However, what about some game-play? Well here is Crysis Remastered in real-time during its trailer which was recorded off of a PC meaning the graphics may be a step down if your planning to play this on consoles.

Due to DMCA takedown attempts, we can’t display the video directly on our website. Click here to be redirected to watch it. When it inevitably gets taken down, we will try to update the link.

Expect an official announcement on July 1st.

  • Star Wars Squadrons (Code Name: Maverick) Details Leaked

Star Wars Squadrons (Code Name: Maverick) Details Leaked

Electronic Arts has had a wild ride with the Star Wars license. There have been way to many canceled games and a lot of controversy. However, Electronic Arts seems like they are finally turning things around. Battlefront 2 actually ended as a good game but it left many fans wanting more since a lot of characters and maps never came to the game. Fallen Order was a huge success and proved that single player games can still make money. We know that Fallen Order has a sequel on the way but another Star Wars game just got even more of a confirmation.

    Credit: PlayStation Store

A few months ago, the PlayStation store leaked an image for a game showing Star Wars Maverick. Judging off the artwork and some information from insiders, fans were able to determine that it was going to be some sort of space pilot simulation game. Today, Xbox leaked artwork for a Star Wars game called Squadrons which is what Maverick turned into. Insider Jeff Grubb went on twitter to confirm a few more details about Squadrons.

    • Squadrons will feature a few hour long single player campaign
    • Squadrons will have a huge focus on multiplayer space combat
    • Squadrons will be made by EA Motive which is the team behind Battlefront II’s single player campaign
    • Squadrons will release on consoles and PC this fall
    • Squadrons should have a trailer with game play on June 18th at the EA Play event
  • Battlefield 6 Setting Confirmed As Modern Day By Multiple Insiders

Battlefield 6 Setting Confirmed As Modern Day By Multiple Insiders

The last Battlefield game set during the modern day time period was Battlefield Hardline back in March of 2015. Even that was hardly a modern day shooter considering the fact that it was basically cops vs robbers. After Battlefield games set in WWI and WWII, many fans have been begging for their games to return to present time period. It looks like that wish is going to be granted.

Back in May of 2020, an insider named Tom Henderson, who was accurate on leaks around Call of Duty Modern Warfare mentioned that Battlefield fans would be happy with the setting of the next game in a response to someone who wanted things to go back to a modern day scenario. Tom also confirmed that he was not talking about a remaster but the next main game in the series.

However, his tweets went under the radar, and not many other people in the industry confirmed or denied what he said. That all changed today. The man, the myth, and the legend confirmed it. That is right, Jeff Grubb saw a tweet that was linking a resetera.com article which mentioned the original tweets. Jeff’s response was three letters and a period. “Yup.”

On top of that, Jeff confirmed that it wouldn’t be a Hardline style which is further backing the information that was given to us by Tom.

We are personally hoping for Battlefield Bad Company 3 set during the modern day but just a simple Battlefield 6 set in the Middle East is perfectly okay with us. We expect that we will get some sort of update on Battlefield directly from EA at their EA Play Live on June 18th.
  • Sony’s PlayStation 5 Reveal Show Leaked

Sony’s PlayStation 5 Reveal Show Leaked

Remember back in January when we all expected to be seeing the PlayStation 5 get revealed in February? That date got pushed back so many times until we finally had an official date being June 4th. However, that got delayed in support for the Black Lives Matter protests. We now have the new date after it got leaked on a Twitch ad. We are also going to be going over some additional information on the games to expect at the show after a new leak came out.

As you were probably able to tell by the cover photo, the official PS5 reveal event date will be June 11th at 4 pm Eastern Standard Time. This photo was confirmed as an authentic ad by Daniel Ahmad.

As far as what games we should expect at the show, a new leak emerged from Game Reactor confirming a few of them.

    • Demon Souls Remake is real, and being made by Bluepoint Games who remade titles like God of War Collection, Shadow of The Colossus and more. He says it’s coming for PS5 and that “you can’t compare it to what they did with SOTC” because it’s a supposedly a way bigger project. Says it’ll be showed off during the PS5 State of Play.

    • Horizon Zero Dawn 2 will be revealed at the PS5 event. Doesn’t seem to have any new info besides to expect game play and a release date.
    Credit: PS4home.com
    • Resident Evil 8 started out as a spin-off, but quickly evolved into a mainline entry. Confirms the whole village-setting, and says the game will be released early 2021. “Thinks” they’ll show it off soon, either at the Sony event or at a Resident Evil exclusive event later in June.

    • Housemarque (Resogun, Stormdivers) is a finish game studio that’s now pretty much a part of Sony. They’re working on some new unannounced AAA title for the PS5.

    • Silent Hill is real as well, and confirms it’ll be shown off around the same time as Resident Evil 8. Says when Konami tried to put off the rumors back in march, they lied. Says it’s pretty far along in development and to expect it at the Sony event.

We can not wait to see what other surprises Sony has in store on June 11th!
